Week 4 in Whio

We have been learning about respecting and caring for our environment in Whio.  We have had talks from Susan and Phil about caring for the gardens and most importantly to not throw stones and take home our rubbish.  Whio Kids are caring kids! We have created a special award for "Caring Crusaders", those children that go the extra mile to be proud of their school, the ones that help to tidy up even if they weren't playing with it and those that never ignore rubbish on the floor.  I wonder who will be the first to get this special award?

Here Koki, our visitor is taking great care to tidy away all the pieces of the reading game he was using.  Well done Koki.

Koki has been  on a visit to Halswell School from Japan for just three weeks.  He has made many friends and is very funny.  He is an ACTIVE worker already. Today is his last day and we will miss him VERY much.  Come back soon Koki. If you have enjoyed working with Koki you could add your comment.
