Dolly the pony visits Halswell School

Today we had a special talk from Katie (from T32) and Miss K about horses and ponies. Katie brought her pony called Dolly along for us to see. Dolly is 22 years old, she is a pony because she is only 14 hands tall. Katie was very good at riding Dolly. We learnt all about how to care for ponies, what they need to eat and how to groom them. Some of us got to try the horse nuts that they feed to the ponies!
